ARMA 1500 Product Description
Arma 1500 high-build decking membrane was
designed as a wear-resistant, waterproof membrane on vehicular and pedestrian
traffic decks. This two-component, 100% solids polyurethane elastomer is a
highly cross-linked polymer coating offering a unique balance of tensile
strength, elongation and hardness. This balance of physical properties
contributes to it's resistance to abrasion and tearing, and results in
outstanding flexibility, wear and impact resistance.
Arma 1500 is a rapid curing solvent-free system enabling fast, high build coats. It is a durable, abrasion-resistant coating which waterproofs and protects occupied spaces below, while isolating the substrate from the destructive forces of gasoline, oil, salts, solvents, cleaning compounds and other chemicals associated with parking deck structures. Various types of aggregate can be broadcast into the product to provide a non-skid surface.
On vehicular traffic decks, Arma 1500 is used on it's own, while on pedestrian traffic surfaces, and other areas where aesthetics are important, Arma 1500 can be top-coated with Arma 255 or Arma-Top.
ARMA 255 Product Description
Arma 255 Aliphatic was developed as a topcoat for use with
Arma 101, Arma 1500 and other polyurethane basecoats to protect aromatic
polyurethane from degradation caused by normal weathering and ultraviolet
exposure. This two-component elastomeric, abrasion resistant polyurethane
product is formulated from an all aliphatic, light stable polymer which allows
for a wide range of UV stable colors.
Used as a spray-on or roll-on, this coating possesses high tensile strength as well as an excellent balance of elongation, hardness and abrasion resistance, resulting in long-term wear and impact protection. The dense finish is also resistant to staining and dirt pickup, which aides in cleaning.
Arma 255 provides a semi-gloss, wear-resistant finish in an array of colors, for pedestrian and vehicular traffic decks, recreational area, walkways, patios and balconies. It is also used to protect primed wood, steel , fiberglass, polyester and concrete.
